Ported and Polished Cylinder heads

Very nice, did you gasket match all the ports as well?

Looks very similar to the set I am doing now for my truck, but I did more in the valve pocket.

I gasket matched the intake ports, and tried to smooth things out a bit as well. For the exhaust ports, I mainly focused on polishing, and straightening the path. I didn't try to increase the size very much. The bulk of my time was spent in the combustion chambers polishing like crazy to avoid carbon build up, and reduce the likelihood of detonation as much as I could. I also did some minor deshrouding work around the valves to try and get a little more air flow in and around them.
I'd love to see some pics of yours as well. This was my first experience with Porting/polishing heads, so I wanted to be very cautious about going to far, especially when opening up the bowls, or removing lots of material from the valve guides. I'd like to see what the limits of the castings are, but I didn't want to go crazy on my first set. Hopefully what I've done will give good results with the Whipple, and still retain strength and reliability to last a long time.
