the grey-t escape
Im about to start on the rear wheelwell repair of my ‘09 escape, plan on using either por-15 or something similar from eastwood products. Any recommendations from someone who has used both? I have used por-15 before, its great but if something else is better or just as good for the $. I plan on coating the rear underside before putting the trailer hitch on too, might even put 1/2 all-thread up into the body with 1” flat iron on the inside in the cargo area for more support.
 
If you can wait for the products to be back in stock, go with Mastercoat rust sealer and then AG-111 topcoat:



If you're wondering why they're out of stock, it's because they outperformed all other products, including Eastwood Rust Encapsulator Platinum and POR-15 by a huge margin in this video:


EDIT: I replaced the video link above, I had the wrong video.

I used Eastwood platinum on a floor pan prepared according to their instructions and rust spots bled through after a year.
