popping sound and vibration

hey guys its me again need help here .. well my truck made a slight pop and a squeek the other day from the rear end and it happens every so often now .. i also have a slight vibration while driving can anyone give any suggestions on where to start ?

Start with the U joints in the driveshaft. Just put two in my dad's truck that had similar problems. They all went away with the new joints.

I second U joints. Just done them in mine. Though it's still not back together as i convinced my dad i might as well swap in the 8.8 while i got the drive shaft pulled. Seriously though try U joints. I got mine from Napa for 13 bucks each.

Its a cheap easy place to start. Around $30 for the pair plus your time to install them. Can't really hurt to replace them anyway.

Not sure if it applies to your truck but it's worth mentioning. When you go to undo the bolts on the driveshaft. I encountered a 12mm Torx style socket was needed. I borrowed mine from a friend. Outside of that just be ready to loose some trans fluid if you pull the drive shaft out of the transmission. Just thought i would save you some of the hassle i went through, man that was a fun night. lol.
