Hi all, I have a '93 with pop out quarters that I hate. I've searched for a couple hours and can't find any info. Will gen 2 windows fit a gen 3?
Thanks.

You have windows that pop out on your Gen 3 (behind the door on extended cab) and you want to have fixed windows there? I think if you just get Gen 3 fixed windows they will work...

The 96 that I took the frame and motor from had fixed windows behind the door...which I personally don't like because the pop outs allow for some air movement...as would a rear sliding window...but that's neither here nor there with your issue...

Yes I want fixed. Just got tired of the leaking. No matter what I did they leaked. My truck is a 93 which I've owned since 94 and the slider and pop outs leaked even then.

I've replace the rear slider with fixed. Look way better. I asked only because there was a set near me. My local PAP has some fixed.

Truth be told, in all the years I've owned it the pop outs and slider have only been open maybe a dozen times. My truck has air so I never needed them.

Mine have never leaked from what I remember. I've forgotten to close them a few times and had some water come in, but not usually much. I think the hardest part about changing them is taking out all the trim without damaging something.

I noticed the 96 had less obvious screw attachments for the inner trim and was concerned more about breaking the trim than anything...I didn't use that cab so it wasn't a big deal to break something when I stripped it down...but I remember thinking how easy it would be to damage something...the older cabs like my 88 are pretty obvious in the way they were assembled...
