Police/Fire vehicle enthusiasts?

I think the new Charger police cars are sweet. Idk if that counts though

i disagree, i know MANY firefighters who think they are cops... and, of course, think they are above the law...

I agree with you. We have some on the department I am on who think that because they have "blue lights" on their truck that they can do what they want. Had one running in excess of 80MPH (in a 30MPH zone) to a BS call in the turn lane. When we got back to the firehouse there was the local police with a ticket and his name on it. He tried to fight it....yep he lost. I am a Federal Officer and I know when to say when and am smart enough to figure it out, don't need to be another statistic on the road!

I prefer looking at POV's with different light setups, fire trucks and normal police cars don't do anything for me.

Back when I was a volunteer fire fighter we had an old pumper at the hall with a screamin detroit in it. That was my favorite truck to ride in.

They where trying to pass the law back home to allow volunteers to have green lights. I had a plan to make my truck have more lights then times square on new years.

He's lucky. I would have terminated him. EVOC states drive with due regard. its not a good idea to go more than 10 miles over the speed limit, especially in heavily populated areas...

SVT

out here, we've got crown vics for the most part. some of the supervisors have yukons or expeditions. some of the other cities have chargers and magnums for the k9 units also, the magnums look goooood

You'd like SVT, I've got more lights than a new York ambulance! Lol

SVT

hell yeah!

Actually he quit cause we would not let up on him. We are very strict and want them to follow the speed limit when responding. If it is heavy traffic we advise not to run with lights on.

Sent from somewhere naughty!

I like the non-traditional stuff. Sports cars, trucks, tactical vehicles, etc.

I also like a lot of the lighter duty fire vehicles used for brush fires, search-rescue, etc.

The new, new ones are really sharp, that is what they are running here now. the have the "retro" crease in the door and fancier tail lights.

I love the unmarked P71 Crown Vic's with the small center hubcaps! :headbang:

We have a cop tank in Calgary?!?!

Calgary also uses a lot of ghost trucks on the highway I believe they are a Dodge 1500?

I like all vehicles that have naked women in them!! That is the best thing to see at a club event or car show or auto swap meet and of course driving on the roads...naked women in Jeeps are so cool too....lol
