PML Transmission Pan

I'm looking into buying a transmission pan for my 5R55E and was wondering if anyone has installed one of these from PML and if there are any fitment issues etc...

ive got one of theyre dif covers for my dodge ram 3500 and i love it. fits great and is almost half the price of a MAG-HYTEC cover.

Also that pan gives the added bonus of having a drain. Don't know much about the 5R55E or the other auto transes but I know this @!$&%# A4LD I have doesn't have one......

I'm pretty sure the catalytic converters interfere with the deeper pan. I've been meaning to take some measurements, because I'm interested in getting this pan too. the PML website has the clearances needed listed.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I figured the catalytic converter would be in the way and I did see the clearances on their website, I just haven't had the time to go take the measurements for myself yet. I wish someone would just sell a regular capacity pan with a drain plug...

I was thinking of buying a stock pan from the junkyard and modifying it. B & M, as well as others, makes a universal drain plug kit.

I was thinking about that too, but I don't have a tap and die set and I would have better piece of mind just buying a brand new one.

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner. You wouldn't need a tap and die set. All you need for these kits is a drill. Here's one kit. The others are all fairly similar.
