That's amazing that one gauge caused all that problem. You need to put some sheilding on that wire :icon_thumby:

By fixing the window issue, do you mean filling them in with sheet metal? And do you sleep at all?

Random crappy video and pictures. I forgot my GoPro in the tow rig the first day and missed all the big stuff.

I finally found the person that owns the little Ranger with the service bed, he doesn't want to sell it, sorry.

Seth, I just saw the Warn Premiums are covered by a "limited lifetime warranty". Did you ever try to contact them to get some free replacements? Maybe their warranty is as good as KC's...

I'll have to see...I have a pair of them that look like they were in a blender.lol

Some people just wont turn loose of things, I know it's been sitting there over 7 years rotting away, bad part is, it's sitting beside a 49 Ford Panel wagon that I would love to have, both are just rusting away.

Even bent them to match the original contour

I made them out of parts of my old tcase skid and some random scrap aluminum sheet that has been laying the barn for 20 years.lol

FYI...These windows are not the same width top to bottom...I cut it out exactly thought it looked good, tried to line it up again to mark out my holes and none the corners lined up...I was about to start grinding away, but then I rotated 180* and was perfect.lol

sitting on the original window...note how the shape is different when flopped 180.

Im going to bolt them on and run them as is for now...maybe Ill paint/powder coat them black once I see them installed.

They are 3/16" aluminum plate.....roughly the same thickness as your average street sign:icon_twisted::D

Apparently the pop out windows are pretty desirable....lol I already sold the driver side and spare to a fellow TRSer and they aren't even off the truck yet.lol

Might that be a clue as to where the aluminum came from? :icon_rofl:

This could lead you to armoring the entire Ranger in old street signs :icon_thumby:

Not going to mention what the top of my current belly skid says......:icon_thumby:
