LMAO. That is spot on and I didn't even know it.

More parts for the HP44 still trickling in.

Solid one piece spindle bushings. They replace the needle bearing, seals, and thrust washer on the stub. The RCV stubs don't have provisions for the wiper seal and I like the idea if the bushing actually being soft enough to not score the stub up like the shitty needles do if they get dry.

That's a good idea! I didn't know there was such a thing! So if there's no wiper seal what's keeping mud and sand out?

Just the grease and fact that is plastic on steel? I read a lot of reviews on various sites and didn't read one negative comment. I check my wheel bearings every other trip or so to make sure they are tight and no chocolate milkshake grease made it in.

Actually with my axle shaft track record I check them once or twice on every damn trail....

Oh ok. What's the life expectancy of them?
Yeah that's a good idea if you have bad luck with bearings lol

If they stay lubed they should out last the truck. They have grooves to hold grease in the bore as well. Im not a big sloppy mud person, and I stay on top of my PM for the most part, so they should work perfect for me.

I have some more goodies waiting on the front porch as we speak, this should be a pretty stout 1/2 ton when I am done.

That's cool. I've been thinking about going to RCVs because I've busted 2 U-joints and I've barely wheeled it. Haven't destroyed axels yet like you did just shattered caps so far but it's not dar off if the caps keep busting.

I broke a few U joints before I decided to go with these....If I didn't find a killer deal on RCVs I would go D60. Its cheaper up front and has room to go bigger.

If I start breaking these....I am seriously considering just building Rocks and excepting that it will be a toy for open rocks and big trails.lol

I'm thinking you'll be good with those RCVs!
I just don't want to buy high steer, gears and a locker for a 60. What's the cost of RCVs? Like 1200 right?
The way I figure it you end up spending 1,000 on chromolys and ox u-joints so why not spend the extra few bucks for RCVs and not have to worry about U-joints.

RCVs are 1300ish plus you need to upgrade hubs to 30 spline on top of that.

Interesting side note. A buddy of mine just picked up axles for his truggy.

Theyre rockwell width and 2" shafts and planitary but still front loading. Came out of an offroad 4 wheel steering forklift

^Sounds legit. What's the WMS measure?
