Plug hanging from TC

I have this wire that hangs from the transfer case to the ground. it has a female plug at the end with 2 red stripes on it. It dosnt seem to go anywhere.
I have 4lo 4hi operating and all the lights come on in the dash when in respective ranges. This is on a BW1350.
Does anyon know where this plugs into? or does it? as far as i know this is the original TC to this vehicle. i have looked and dont see the male end anywhere.
