I just reinstalled my A/C compressor with a new accumulator and recharged it with one of those AutoZone kits that comes with a gauge readout.

I'm having a problem with the "Max A/C" not wanting to come on. The air is blowing out relatively cold but the air will not blow out any harder when on the "Max A/C" setting.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to start looking?

It shouldn't blow out any harder, it just recirculates rather than drawing in fresh air.

And you can see the outside air door if you look under the dashboard, all the way to the right. I've seen the vacuum motor pop off the door before.

It does make a difference in the SOUND, though it really isn't blowing any harder.

But it's always blown harder. I mean I used to be able to really feel the difference in the amount of air being pushed through the vents. Now it's the same.

Thanks for the info MAKG on where to look. I think I'll go out and check it out right now.
