I want to know the widest tires I can run on my 1989 Ford Ranger GT. Can anyone help on rim size slash back spacing etc. Thank you

I easily fit 255/55-16 on my '94 ranger on 16x8 Mustang Cobra wheels.

235/60-16 on the front with a 5 mm spacer.

I know plenty of people are running 17x8 and 17x9 wheel and tire combos on the front of 83-92 Rangers. If you can find the specs for those it might be a good place to start, different styles and aftermarket/OEM vary a little a small spacer might be required. You can easily fit an aftermarket Mustang 17x10 on the rear.

Sorry can't really help on tire sizes.
