PLEASE HELP!!! 98 RANGER 4x4 CV BOOT

Hi to all. In process of changing outer cv boot on driver side. I have the spindle and shaft all ready seperated. How do I remove the cv joint off of the driveshaft in order to put new boot on. Thanks in advance.

Hit the CV joint with a deadblow hammer towards yourself (away from the axle) It is only held on with a spring clip. The boot kit should come with new clips.
