hey yall, I've got a little something to share with you guys
I'm not sure what all years have this, but my truck has a bunch of plastic trim up under the front bumper
I noticed mine sat on there pretty loose, so I figured i'd just take it off...well, i ended up taking off both the pieces, and it makes your truck look quit a bit higher in the front, kinda takes care of that "nose down" look.
Most of my friends even asked me if I got a leveling kit for the front end.
Might be a dumb thing to share but I dont care, hah

Have any pics of the trim you're talking about?

I know what plastic you are talking about. I always thought it was supposed to be like an air dam so I never touched it.

i was thinking about that when I was taking it off....but idk, i haven't noticed any differences in performance or anything

ya the same thing happened with me. i didnt know if it was some kind of shield or something but it looks alot better with it off....even though mines an 83 it makes a world of difference.

Interesting. I may have to give it a try

daniel u can take out the lower part, the smallest
i took it out on my moms 93 once and it looked cool, she wanted it back immediately:annoyed:

Something like this?

Yeah its a 'valance'. Its held on by a bunch of plastic tabs... have someone back into it with a receiver hitch, it breaks all the tabs except the side ones :P

i would take it out on 93-00 rangers since its a 2 piece assembly
01 and up dont look that good without it imo
