Hi everyone, I am finally starting my build and need some help on an odd question. Does anyone know of a oem plastic gas tank that would fit in back of the rear axle of a 1987 ranger. I need the space for dual exhaust, dual cats and x over, and yes I plan to take lots of pics. Thanks.

The tank I'd recomend you go looking for is the rear tank out of a 1992
F350(with dually wheels) or an F450.

rear tank???

can i ask why that year and why a dually tank? will it fit? i have a 1990 & a 1991 F350 dually's and i have a 84 bII project that i also need a tank for, and do i need to change the intank 6-8psi pump, since i am going to a 302 w/carb intake, or would a older (70's) F-150 rear tank be the better choice? just asking...

Not knowing the exact details of that truck, I would guess the year spec mostly because you specified plastic. And that the dually tank is different in dimensions from the SRW tank so that it will fit.

As for "will it fit", yes. AllanD has had about 700 tanks in his truck for various fuel system issues.
