Picked up this today and I'm planning to swap the 2.9 for a 5.0. Hoping to do a "budget limited" conversion. Want it to remain as bland looking as it is now, but with more power and dependability--and hopefully equal fuel economy.
The big challenge will be transmission choice. Hoping to find a good C-4 or AOD and the adapter from a C-5 equipped BII to use my existing 1350 TC.
Open to any input or suggestions.
