I have searched and read for quite some time now and have not been able to dig up the information that I need.
This will also be good for others to ref in the future that are looking for the same info.

I have a 1999 Ranger with a stock 4.0L in it.
I have had the marbling problem since 20k miles... it now has 130k on it and I have learned to live with it.
I'd like to find out if anyone has a definitive answer for a replacement piston that cures the piston rocking/slapping/marbling issue??
In MY truck... this IS the piston noise and NOT any other issue... so I'm not looking for valve train input or oil use/change info.
