I just got a code 14 on my 89 ranger 2.3 and since this is a 2.3 without a distributor I am trying to find out where the problem is and how to fix it.I also got code 34 which is EGR valve position which I think is just a simple replace on the valve or possible clean,havent looked at it yet.I just got the truck cheap because it needed work.It is hard to start and when shut off will knock and ping a few times before dying.I think I get the 2 codes taken care of it will be a good running truck.
