hello..
me and a buddy will be doing an SOA on my explorer in a week or two, is there a estimated pinion angle or do most people just eye ball it?
any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nick

Weld the perches to the other side at the exact same angle the old perches are currently at.

I put the axle on jackstands, with the old perches facing the ground. I put a magnetic angle finder on the old perches and rotated the axle until the finder reads "0". Then weld the new perches on top at 0 degrees, then cut the old ones off.

Don't eyeball it, you likely won't get close enough.
