Hello,
While installing mudflaps on my 2008 Ford Ranger XL I noticed my driver's side inner fender is not tucked inside my fender anymore. It won't even fit! The fender, inner fender, etc. are aftermarket after a colision and it looks like the body shop used cheap pieces that don't fit properly.
While sticking my fingers inside the inner fender I felt a piece of plastic that seems loose. It's not bolted to anything. I can see it if I look through the door into the fender. It's black and seems to fill the entire inner fender.
Any ideas what that piece is? Should it be bolted?
To my Canadian friends in the Greater Toronto Area, DON'T EVER go to Newmarket Auto Body for repairs!!! I have had nothing but problems since the repairs!!! The paint is peeling, the parts don't fit properly, my front bumper is crooked and there is overspray everywhere! Worst of all, they won't even honor the "lifetime" warranty!!!
Thanks,
Chad
