Hi All,

I saw this this website with some pictures of a camo'd regular cab. Thought this might be interesting for some of you! More pictures in the link below.

Besides the gallery of pictures, this listing on MotorTrend displays a trim of "XL 2WD Regular Cab" (http://www.motortrend.com/cars/ford/ranger/2019/). Although it is just a preliminary filler listing and is 100% going to be updated/changed, it might be a good sign for those who want the regular cab.

From what I understand that is ROWT rear axle...

Rest Of The World, the stuff sold outside U.S. and Canada

There was an aritcle on the 'truth about cars' that said the regular cab wasn't coming to north america.

I think they somehow got a copy of a build sheet and saw that regular cab was not an option.

My implication was that it probably is the ROWT (rest of world truck) pictured since it has the ROWT rear axle.

They told us in Detroit when were up there for the unveiling only scabs and screws were going to be available in NA. Same wheelbase but different frames.

That said they may be working the kinks out of a regular cab longbox option for down the road... who knows. The show trucks in detroit had the ROWT rear axles too but I thought some spy shots showed NA axles running around so I would think if they were testing another NA truck they would have the right axle in it by now. Again "always in motion the future is" so who knows for sure what they are up to and what is coming down the pipe.

Here is some information I think Ford released to dealers:
