So, I guess I have to be a premimum member to post pics here? Damn, and I just wanted to give ya'll a show. We just finished a build on a 04 Ranger, with 38's, nice street-off road truck.

You don't need to be a premium member. Just upload them to another site like Photobucket and copy/paste the IMG code here.

Yeah, just use Photobucket. :D

Ok, let me try this. The first pics are of the rear spring placement. We used BDS chev springs without the over load, along with a Perf. Accs. shackle. I started out with the front hangar forward the standard 6", but ended up moving it down 1 1/2", and rear about 3/4".

These next shots are a little dark, I wish I wouldnt have painted the parts. We used Skyjacker 7" springs for the front, and made radius arm mounts from 3/8's plate. The steering box is shoved as far forward as we could get it, even cutting the bottom mount off the radiator, and re making another underneath. The trans crossmember is made from 2.0x .120 dom, and is bolted between the radius arm brackets to act as a little more stability. Both the tie rod, and the track bar are made from 1 1/2x.250 dom, and are at perfect angles thru the range of travel. We used the Ranger e brake cables on the full width rear, and worked the holes in the backing plates accordingly. You can see the bracket we made on the driver side front spring hanger. The front was a hp44 from a 79 f150, and the rear was from a 86 f150. Over all this was a very fun project, even though it was very time consuming. The 38 swamper tsl's ride like ass, but iWe didnt expect anything else, this was the customers choice.

Try this.

Holy huge pictures batman! You should be able to shrink them down on imageshack..

That ranger is sick tho! Great angles with the steering and track bar an all! Great work!

was that hard to move the hangers forward? did the gas tank get in the way? that is what i want to do to mine, move hangers forward so i can flip the springs around to have more bed bobbing clearance

Not at all, we just took the straps loose and wedged a block of wood between the frame, and tank for enough clearence to get in there.
