Haha that would make a good story but no. He actually drove an F series. He just thought fighting me would be a good thing I guess. It didn't pan out for him.

Thanks! I actually didn't keep track for fear that my wife might find the records. Lol. I'd guess somewhere around 3500-4000 where it sits now.

The engine went in the other day. The heater box wouldn't clear the new valve covers so I pulled the engine back out. I had to cut the studs that mount the heater box to get it loose enough to remove. I didn't think that it would ever come out after welding the fender in around it but it did.

im glad that heater box came out ok for ya, when i saw the fenders get welded in earlier in the build i though 'thats going to hurt later', but aparrently it was ok. nice work, keep it up!

Thanks guys! I'm hoping to get the engine back in it this week. I just picked up a box that's in better shape than the one on it. I'm going to raise the whole bed floor and do it nice.

RDR, I've had the truck for years and I got it for basically nothing. So that's just parts and stuff.

The heater box looks great! So, are you going to upgrade to the B-303 cam since you found out that this one is actually a E-303 cam?

Well what happened was the guy beat up his old dad and fled on foot. Followed his tracks in the snow down a dead end road. Tracks went about 100 yards into the woods where we found him. Tried to talk to him and he told me to get effed. Told him he was under arrest, got one cuff on him and he pulled away and swung at me. My partner shot (taser) him in the torso but his winter coat prevented him from getting the direct effect. So I panned down and shot him in the leg, dropping him. As he lay on the ground with the taser still supplying voltage, he reached back and pulled the wires out of his leg!

I reloaded as he told us how bad he planned to eff us up. As he started to stand up, he was bent over. I had a clean shot so I took it. Shot him right in the ass! He dropped like a 2X4 into the snow and we both pounced on him and wresled him into cuffs.

This guy was huge and all jacked up on dope and alcohol. No way we wanted to try to just go hands on with him.

The change between the two cams really isn't enough for me to spend money so I just reinstalled the E cam. Maybe when I get some alum heads, I'll go for a custom grind.

when i said 'thats going to hurt later' i was refering to how tight of a fit the heater box/fender clearance was and that it looked like it would be hard as hell to get the heater box and blower motor back out if you needed to, i didnt mean to sound like i didnt like the fenders. thats pretty funny that you tasered a guy in the ass, thats gotta hurt like hell!
