dont worry i had to add a 1 inch riser plate to mine because my turbo hit the header.

:icon_rofl:
i just used a piece of square tubing and welded it on with another t3 flange welded on it. Kinda lame you have to do that. Its not like there is any room. I believe we got the oil lines from the same guy too and neither of them worked either.:icon_confused: Lucky i had some stuff laying around from my 242.

complete turbo setup and rough cost of doing it would be nice

I would pull the platinum plugs out and use coppers. I ran platinums in a 2.3 turbo merkur and almost blew the engine. Platinum retains too much heat and will cause pre ignition. Finally popped the motor at 22psi lol.

well was it 22 psi on stock internals? lol because i got TC internals and will not run over 17 or so... heh. yea i baught on of those "weld fanges" from ebay for t3/t4 turbos for like $10.... yea my turbo set-up wasnt too too hard to do. header is only thing "Specified" for my truck, everything else is custom. it took me about $1100 and some custom fabrication skills. and yea i used a different oil feed kit. heh.

nice truck man!!! turbo looks so fresh and so clean, plumbing is nice indead.

thanks dude, yea the intercooler piping was the most fun. waiting for a 45 degree 2.5-2.0 reducer from hong kong to come off of compressor housing. waiting for 90 degree's for intercooler from california. yea it was a fun build i have to say.

Looks good man! I cant wait to intercool mine. I have a extra turbo valve cover that would look sweet on there.

the one that says "ford fuel injection turbo"? a friend of mine has one for like $20 that ill prolly get or just keep my blue one.

Here is mine I still need to add blue to the ford oval. It's powder coated.

It was a 87 merkur xr4ti. Porsche 944 intercooler pipe made from exhaust pipe, couplers were semi truck radiator hose. ECU from a 88 auto tbird. 3-4ft of exhaust pipe. It ran good at 17-18psi. Decided to turn it up one day and put a hole in the piston. Before the motor went 3rd gear shatterd from the tourqe lol. Motor blew about 6k rpms in 4th gear. Gutted the entire car, scrapped out the sound deading materials. The intercooler sat between the headlights hanging out of the grill. The ricers thought it was some kind of odd ball radiator.

wow wut do u want for that intake manifold? that would look really good on my ranger. they are the same set-up as rangers i supose? no modifying?

Hey I'm not sure if it will fit over your valve cover or not. It is a 87-88 intake and the 87 -88 valve covers had a low spot in them so the intake would clear. You could always put a spacer in between the the upper and lower to raise it up so it would clear. I know it wont work wit the 86 valve covers. If it will work then we can come up with a price.

Hey man i just looked at your valve cover it looks like it will work because yours also has a low spot in the middle. So what do you think it is worth. It's not powered coated just base and clear. As you can see i sanded the letters off smooth almost to a mirror finish and cleared over them so the wont tarnish.
