looking at making spare tire carrier in my bed just wondering if anyone had any pic of there made looking for the best way thanks

Im planning on making one too. Google rat cages and check those out. I think this might be better in the Body Armour forum along with the bumpers and other stuff like that?

Made this one for my old ranger, it would swing either way and lock itself in place with spring loaded latches i made on the mill and lathe. Simple and effective.

thats was kinda more what im looking for is easy but my roll bar is alum so no welding to it hows your setup just a bar running across the roll bar?? i was thing of just fliping the carrier from under the truck and bolting to bed and brace it some more but idk

You can't really see it in the pic...

Drilled 2 holes in the bed that match the 5 lug pattern. Put long bolts up through from underneath, with a nut on top holding them secure. Set the spare down on it and the bolts go up through the lug holes. Throw 2 spare lug nuts on it and tighten it down.
