Ok so I'm trying to replace the pickup coil in my 85 ranger v6 2.8 duraspark. I'm trying to pull that round paddle looking thing out with 2 pry bars but it won't come out n I'm afraid I will break it. I really need help

I put one screw driver under either side and pry gently and evenly until they slide off. It's called a reluctor, if you break it you have a better chance of getting the right one with the correct name.
