It got heavy so I set it back down. Got it from an old guy in Flagstaff. 4.0L, Automatic, warn hubs, cloth dash cover, all original and ready for a lift. I was thinking of lifting it just enough and easy enough for some 33's and almost no cost. Suggestions?

get some washers and make some coil springs spacers, do a 3 inch body lift and do some trimming and tuck them 33s in there! nice truck

all u need is a little trim and a 2" body lift to run 33s i have coil spcers cut fenders and a 2" bl and i can run 35s

Thanks for the helpful input but 4x4junkie brought up the F-150 spacers for $30 so, I'll be looking into those. As for the body lift, I've heard bad stories if I don't lift it right. Good thing I'm not afraid of a sawz'all! : )

nice truck but i think you should send me the bed!!! i had a "run in" with a chain link fence pole a year ago, got most of it out but it still looks like ass.. i'd love to find another 3rd gen with a mangled cab so i could steal some parts off it.. bed, possible leaf springs ( i might just swap an expo rear end into it) front axle shaft u-joints, rear axleshaft/hub for the stock 8.8.

ah all in time!! haha.. ya just do a 3 inch body lift and you can run 33's.. you can run 31's right now with no lift.. they fit fine, i have a 93 and had 31's with little rubbing at full turn.

Forgot to add my part so I had to edit. Haha. Just make a flat bed for it. My cousin has an 89 with a 5.0, F-150 axles, 8 inch lift, 35's and he made a custom flat bed. I'd have pictures for it if he lived down here but he is up in WA. I just have one picture from mudding.

the f150 coils will make the truck ride rough as hell

Spacers is the keyword here. he's getting f-150 coil spacers, its gonna ride like stock cause he's keeping the stock coils. he'll most likely need an alignment though.

Thats what I'm pushing for. Alignments are cheap here, around $25-$35. Network Alignment @ Cactus and Cave Creek in Phoenix, AZ. It's a drive though.
