Hey guys, I'm at a crossroads. I have brand new tires on my truck at this moment, they are a good all terrain, but are stock size, 265/65r16??? I think, I know they are stock because they were put on by the dealer I bought it from. So my question is, if I put in a 3 inch PA lift, and say LOWER the truck by reverse cranking the torsion bars? Can I do that? Just so as that I can continue to run these tires till their worn? So the pictures I would be looking for would be one of those inbetween pics. ie. Here's the truck with the new lift, tires to come. ect. Thanks for any help guys, take it easy.

PS. It is an 05 Silver 4x4 completely stock

What purpose would lowering your torsion bars serve? That would only lower the front end too...

The idea is so that my stock sized tires will not look like cheerios where there should be doughnuts in the wheel wells. 33's are not really in the cards for a while, but the stance its at is killing me. This way I can still have *some* lift, like 2inches say, if i remove the leaf blocks, and tork the bars back. Just trying to make it work with what I got.

If the tires are that new, you might be able to get a good offer on them.

It wouldn't be worth lowering the front cause the back would still stick up. If you still wanted to lower the truck till you got some bigger tires go ahead and lower your tbars and remove your rear blocks. Now you still got the level look.

It's an 02, but here ya go:
