Genuine Bullitt wheels. 13mm spacer in front. I had to mill the snout of the rotors down to fit the spacers and rims. I didn't want to bore the rims. The spacers I used came as a kit that was intended to allow one to use '05 and newer Mustang wheels on '94 to '04 Mustangs. They came with longer studs. Only needed them for the front wheels. I have a '00 Explorer 3.73 disc brake rear which is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches wider that the stock rear. The offset of the Bullitt wheels worked perfectly. Heres a link to the spacers. http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustang_13mm_wheel_spacer_kit_fits_05-08_wheel_94-04_mustangs.aspx

Same truck, but with 7/9 drop sitting on 20's with an explorer 8.8 out back on stock ranger springs, and a 2000 explorer dront end swap...
3" drop beams, 2" drop coils that have settled an additional 2"; flip out back(5"), and flipped hanger(4")

And this is what happens when you let a girl drive your baby (the girl from the pics above, I guess she was way too well naturally endowed to drive a street scraper!) I already changed the door as it was pretty banged up...She hit 1 deer!! I about cried!!:bawling: Luckily the 20's were not on it at that time and now the whole explorer front end needs to be redone. I have almost all the parts, just need time and another small MIG to finish it

Here is my 1993 Ranger with stock rims and 225/70R14 tires

Here is my Ranger with 2005 FX4 Ranger Rims with 225/60R16 tires

RangerSVO2b.jpg

The stock rims measured 14 x 6 and the new rims measured 16 x 7. The offset for both rims is 12mm. One other thing, the rear shackles were flipped at the same time the new rims and tires were put on.

Did you have to modify the FX4 rims in any way to get the to fit right on the 93? Planning on getting a set of them for my 92 thats still at stock, if they bolt up with no to minimal mods.

No mods, no spacers, just bolt them on

Did you have to change your shift points, or use higher/lower rpm's in your driving because of the bigger circumference tire?

i'll start a new thread on that.

Here is a dark picture, its my first pic, just finished installing them tonight...

Here's my 87' with 17x8 all the way around wrapped in 245/45ZR17's on all four corners! I had to get 5/16 spacers for the front to get them to fit perfectly! It is lowered with the DJM 3/4 Kit. Hoping to go lower in the front soon!:D:D

Ford Edge Factory 17" Rims

Here are some before and after shots of my 94 Ranger with some new 17" factory rims from a Ford Edge.

I put some new 225/55R17's on them. Original tire diameter was 26.4" and the new is 26.75". That calculates to 65.8 mph when the speedometer reads 65 mph, not enough to warrant any other changes.

The center bore of the Edge rims is slightly smaller than the original wheels and the offset is about 1.5" deeper. Therefore, I mounted them on spacers. I was a little paranoid that anything less than 1.75" spacers wouldn't be enough. Turns out that 1" spacers may have been enough. The 2" spacers do give the truck a nice looking wide stance.

The center caps even have the Ford logo.
