If there's a chip in my butt, somebody must die.

go look for that little scar at the top of your left cheek, and feel deep into the muscle, you'll feel a tiny lump, no one can hide from the government.

As a former resident of the Virginia Communistwealth, I gave up a long time ago on personalized plates.

*rant*
After dad and I finished the restoration of my 67' all I wanted to do was get HTBULIT plates or "Hard-top Bullitt" (pic to the left doesn't show it but its Highland Green), we paid for the plates filled out the form with the custom lettering and got a standard auto-generated plate. I called up the DMV office in Richmond only to be told by some old lady "Well son, your request for personalized plates were denied due to the offensive nature or provocative tone you requested them to have, and the Virginia DMV has a zero tolerance policy to allow such language on a state issued plate." Before I could tell her to not-so politely fornicate herself, I hung up. I assume they thought it was "Hot Bullet" and that was "offensive" for them. This from the same state that had a online licence plate creator (with built in censorship to prevent the obvious) that allowed you to create a breast cancer awareness plate with "BOOBLESS" on it.

The real nut punch of it all was at a local car show a few months later I see a guy with a then new 2001 Highland Green Mustang Bullitt with horse enthusiast plates that have MYBULIT on it. Same last five character spelling, I was furious. *End rant.* It did help that I beat him out and for 2nd place (I think) and it was my first time showing it.

You can get 2 different customized plates!
Seriously... who is this intended for?

Well... after actually looking them up it seems they do serve a legit purpose (kinda). It's so guys at car shows can hide their real plates and display a custom or vintage one so they dont have their license plate number ending up in a ton of pics online. I can understand that logic. I always blur my plate number when I post a pic of my cars.

Actually finding period plates for your car and putting them on at car shows is kind of a thing.

I found a set of like new '86 plates in my garage for mine.

I have never put them on at a show because I like my real plates better, kinda cool in that they are sort of period correct and that was how our plates were when I was a kid.

Why do you care if your plate is on a bunch of pics on forums?

Because they are always watching... :secret:

The white truck has that reeks of puke/grape pop/fish gristle soup would be hard to pick out in your postage stamp sized state?
