Perkins to 2.3t

I've got an 83 Ranger with the 2.2 Perkins and an 88 merkur xr4ti. The Ranger engine is gutless and the merkur body is garbage. I'm looking to put the 2.3t and t5 from the merkur into the truck. I'm curious about what kind of custom fabrication work I'll need to do. Anyone with that information would be really helpful

See the sig... A good salesman can make anything relevant.

A 2.3t is a somewhat common swap into Rangers, but never looked into it myself so can't tell you much. Check out the mini-trucks under construction forum, I know there are at least 3 ongoing build threads for them on the first page. Might find some ideas to help you in there.
