Has anyone ever used a SPEC Clutch in there Bronco II, I'm looking at buy a stage 2 clutch and wanted to know if there really is a difference between them and the OEM clutch?

"Performance" clutch discs are made of a softer material that gets "sticky" when heated up so grips faster, but they also WEAR OUT much faster
And pressure plate can/will have stronger springs usually

Usual use is 0-60mph benefit, not for daily driving and for sure not for off-roading where wheel traction is the limiting factor
They can also be trans and axle breakers because of the faster torque transfer

More money to gain nothing. The Bronco 2 doesn't have anything in it to need a "performance" anything. Stick with stock parts you'll thank yourself and your wallet will thank you too.

I think there is a "heavy duty" option for 2.3 but not sure for other engine combos
