Performance Accessories Body Lifts For Ford Ranger's Review?

I just put a PA kit on my 03....I'm definitely a newbie and I was able to do it. I had a pretty knowledgeable buddy help me out, but that was mostly for my peace of mind, to assure me I wasn't screwing anything up too bad.

With the PA kit a lot of the pictures were worthless, but some were a HUGE help. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the PA kit, my only complaint is that I had some issues with the rear bumper lift brackets not fitting so great, but I got the thing on there alright!

you'll definitely need to be able to lift the body/bed sections to install the lift kit. most just use jacks and jack stands to get the job done. and it is much easier if you have a buddy or two helping out. should take half a day or so with a little help.

might want to check the prices out on StreetSideAuto.Com Don't Charge for shipping and even cheaper.

my only complaint is that they dont come with rear bumper lift brackets. i had to go out and make my own to get rid of the fugly gap.

thats because the rear bumper is on the bottom side of the frame on the 97 and down and there isnt really a way to raise it

You don't have one. Don't be a dick. We all started somewhere. STFU.

I really do have one its been sitting my room for over a year need to purchase new body mounts

The one thing I ran into with this is that the welds on the front bumper brackets sucked. I would tighten the brackets down and I pulled 3 studs out of the brackets. I was tightening then with a 1/2 inch ratchet, not going nuts either. Quick trip to my local welding shop and all was fixed though. Gotta love 210 migs...

I've had mine for 3yrs and they are great (PA body lift) . I also do a little off-roading from light-heavy use and they hold.

related topic sort of...im looking to install a 2" PA body lift from a 1994 in my 07, basically all i want is the blocks and bolts...these would work correct? and is the front bumper brackets the same as rear bumper brackets (just some flat steel with holes drilled in)?
