hey guys, the whole wiring and everything was unhooked from my 86 2.9 ranger, and i started to put it back together, and there were 2 PCV valves unhooked, and i got one hooked up to a part on the passenger inner fender, but i cant figure out where the other one goes. id appreciate it if anybody could tell me where the other one leads to.
thanks

if its just a vaccum or something can i just plug it off ?thanks

I think they both go to the line connects under the TB. The valve itself gets connected to the passenger side and the breather goes to the driver's side.

ok i know theres a canister square type vaccum box or something on the drivers side next to the radiator

That's the charcoal canister.

There should only be one PCV valve. The other valve sort of thing attached to a valve cover is a different sort of vent.

thanks, and does anyone know where to find a 2.9 wiring diagram? theres neither one in our tech library and google isnt helping much

It is from my chilton 83-90 ranger BII sorry it is not so clear the vacuum is real simple the wiring on the other hand can be a bitch. I need glasses to read it out of the book and you lose some every time you copy and paste and I have a cheap scanner I am gonna try and use the zoom on my camera and see if I can get you a couple of better copies

im not sure if you found a solution yet, but in my chilton's it says the "breather" on the passenger valve cover is a PCV, and on my truck its routed to the bottom of the TB. i'm still researching it myself becuase mine has one open hole on it.

Which diagrams are you interested in, I have the Ford manuals.

Yeah, it goes to the bottom of the TB. There is one for the breather, one for the PVC and one for the IAC right there (can't remember the exact config right now).
