PCM or ECA

In the Tech libiary section under the TFI dia. The TFI work sheet they state on line #10 that the ECA could be a fault problem. Are they refering to the powertrain control modiule{PCM} or what? I can"t find ECA anywhere in that section, is the PCM and ECA the same thing?
