Passenger seatbelt for 99 Ford Ranger XLT

Aloha all!
The passenger side retracting seatbelt has stopped working. It's frozen in mid-range. Not extending, not retracting. It's done this in the past, and usually shakes loose, but this time it seems to be stuck stuck. Any thoughts on a replacement? I see ads on Amazon for "universal" replacements, but I'd like to hear some stories from folks who've successfully done this before ordering. Recommendations on brands, vendors, pitfalls, etc.

Find a not wrecked Ranger in a junk yard. It will be the cheapest option and you'll learn how to pull it without wrecking your interior.
 
As an aircraft mechanic, we send the assemblies off for repair and/or re-webbing. Not sure if that's an option in the automotive world...
And I agree, don't get one off a wreck, never know if it was stressed and if it will hold up to another event.
 
I ended up picking up a generic seatbelt from Amazon. It was a pretty straightforward job! I watche a couple of YT videos, so carried all the right tools downstairs the first time.
