Parts vehicle ?

I have a 94 ranger xlt with 4.0,4x4,AT and regular cab.
I found a parts vehicle that is a 94 extended cab mazda B4000(4.0) 4x4,AT. It runs and shifts good with 168k miles. Things I need as of now are trans( mine has broken parking pawl or actuator rod),fuel filler neck,AC compressor. I can get it for 450.00. Should I buy it?
Just don't know if his being extended cab and Mazda changes too many things?

Probably worth it for $450. I wouldn’t rely on it for the filler neck. But a transmission and A/C compressor for that price doesn’t sound too bad. You will probably find other parts worth keeping, too

He says new parts are MAF, TPS, 2- o2 sensors,serp belt. Engine runs smooth and no check engine light. I also may need injectors....

Read a bunch of other threads to find what parts people are commonly looking for. There are parts there that you can’t buy new any more or are expensive and you will already have them. Interior trim pieces that break, motors that go bad, fuses, relays, handles, knobs, headlights, tail lights, throttle cable, etc. I would strip it. Then sell the remainder for scrap and get some of your money back.
