Trying to get the motor back in my truck...decided to replace the exhaust manifold to head bolts, went to Napa, they don't have them. Went to the Ford dealer..$18 EACH BOLT!!! got some that'll work from Ace Hardware. Decided to replace the o-ring on the bottom of my distributor, Napa doesn't even come close, the local parts place no have.. gonna try Ace in the morning but in the mean time..anyone know offhand where to get a replacement o-ring for the distributor? Any other parts I should be buying up to have in stock for when something breaks and no one has replacements?

make sure you use grade8 or case hardened bolts and not the cheesey grade5 bolts or the next time you go to remove one you will be:temper::temper::bawling:

Got mine bolts from fastnall, much cheeper...thinking that it was about $12-15 for all of them.

as faras theO-ring for the bottom of the Distributor...it can on the gasket set...Got that from O'Riellys...works fine.

What gasket set? I bought an exhaust set and an intake set and it wasn't in either of them...

I found one at Ace that fits nice and looks like it'll work. Now just gotta wiggle that little puppy back onto the tranny shaft and bolt it all back together.
