I have a 2wd 86' ranger and 4wd lift blocks. I also have the 4wd springs. I was wondering what you guys think about just putting the blocks on the back for a while and doing the front later.

Why not just wait till you get the stuff to do the front at the same time? Yes, I've been anxious to put on new parts before, but I've never been so anxious that I would only install half of it. It just wouldn't look right. But that's just my $0.02.

my thoughts exactly. that's why i've been holding off, but one of my buddies planted the idea in my head to just do the back.

Dont just do the back. My 97 at stock height has a rediculous rake to it, and I couldnt Imagine lifting the back more. The rear hight is also gonna shift alot of the truck's weight foward, and you lose traction in the rear. I'm assuming you dont want less traction with a 2WD lol. One more thing, with that weight shifted to the front, it will sit even lower in the front than it does now.

So my opinion, wait till you've got the rest of the parts.

I have all the parts, just didn't have the time to do the front as well.
