Part on the heater hose

This housing for the temp probe rusted through and leaks coolant. It is attached to the hose that comes from the water outlet housing and runs to the heater core. I've searched around on Advance Auto, AutoZone, and FordParts website, but I can't find it anywhere and I don't know exactly what it is called. I think I know what it does - it holds the temperature probe for the dashboard temp gauge. Anyone know exactly what it is called and where I can get one? I have it bypassed for now with a new hose. 1997, 2.3l, no a/c.

get a 3/8" pipe thread tee fitting, and two 5/8" hose barb 3/8" pipe thread fittings and install that where that piece is, install the sensor first to be sure it doesn't go too deep and bottom out in the tee fitting, if it does, get a 1/2" pipe thread tee and fittings with a reducing nipple to 3/8" pipe for the sensor.

Ahh yes i have changed a few of those.. and if i wasent 4 hours away from home i would get you the original part number - But I second scott, Just jimmy one up - also works like a charm!

I decided to stop at the dealership after work just for the heck of it. The parts counter guy knew right away what I needed. I'm in the salt belt, so he must see a lot of these rusted through. Thanks for your help though, that would have been my plan B.
