owner of a beautiful 1990 Ford Ranger, no rust, kept clean except one part and I need help identifying it. could not find it in the Haynes manual or on line. Hope someone can help me. It's the part that seems to hold up the radiatior, it spans the front end of the chasis. Would appreciate help identifying it and any information about how difficult and expensive it is to replace. Thanks!!!:shok:

Thanks Mike, it could be although I though it was just a single bracket. Do you have any experience with this?

Eh, little.

I know those radiator supports often look like a few separate brackets, but are all one piece. Any way you can post a picture of your part here?

I will try to. Might have time today to snap a shot. I think this is probably it. I'm wondering if it has any structural value to the chassis. The bracket feels like it's sort of U shaped. with an upper part and a lower part, the lower part is whats rusting. Looks like a big job if I have to replace the whole thing. Probably above my pay grade. Thanks for the help.
