So the other day I flushed out my heater core with the garden hose and now I have all my heat back but I did it at night and noticed the next day when I pulled my truck out of it's parking spot that there was this plastic piece on the ground.

I am assuming it has something to do with holding the heater core hoses or something similar but with no reference to go on I really need somebody to take a picture of theirs in place and working, below are 4 pictures of the plastic piece in hope of somebody being able to identify it for me and show me were it goes under the hood.

I guess there is a VERY SLIGHT chance this piece just ended up in my driveway and is not related to my truck but I doubt that.

I am assuming if you have a 1993-1997 ranger you should have this exact part some where under your hood by the hoses for the heater core and probably other years also but not for sure.

THANKS!!

I would guess it fell off an alien space ship...I don't see any Ford part number and they are almost all stamped with such...and you can go to a dealer with that part number to order it or, as I think I've seen on here, a website that will tell you what the part is...

i check out my truck and i didn't see anything like it and i have the same truck

it's most likely just a clip that goes on the valve cover or something to hold the heater hose in place, as long as the heater hoses aren't touching anything hot or sharp or moving, I wouldn't worry about it, alot of those factory clips are useless, and that one looks distorted anyway

It is molded that way and is not broken or bent.
