Painting Headlight housing

is it possible on 2008 rangers. ive seen it done with toyota's and honda's and imagine it could be done the same way. i just dont know if the headlight construction will allow it to split apart such as in link below:

i looked for an existing thead went through 8 pages on two search criteria, couldnt find anything. although i did find a thread about olympic hotties somehow

I knew it was out there, the reason you didn't find it was the title didn't have much to do with painting the headlights.
