ok guys what do you think about the "deer hoof" wheels painted flat black. i have the ability to get them painted and i was wonderin if anyone has ever done it. pics would be great. my question is how would i paint the chrome center caps. sand like a madman?? would it be safe to sand blast?? This would not be a rattelcan job, im talkin dupont paint baked on flat clear. what do ya think??

it would be easy to get the chrome off mine there peeling after 15 years. but yeah sanding should work

A very light sandblasting will work. Used sand would be best, although I forget any specific kinds, nothing real course though.

Unlike metal you can actually burn and really chew up the plastic as it is much softer.
