Work hard and play harder
I am not sure where this would go on here but I will put it here. I an about to acquire a RAP4 T68 marker. I have wanted one for sometime now and a coworker has one that is collecting dust. So I am going to take it off his hands for him.

Just curious how many members are into paintball? Nothing like shooting people and getting away with it.:icon_hornsup::taunt::icon_cheers:

I love Paintball. Started out when I was 10 with the all too over rated Tippmann 98 Custom. Upgraded to a Tippmann A-5 with the cyclone feed and Response Trigger.:icon_thumby: Summer it will pound out 15 balls per second no problem. Winter its only about 8. Its heavier then an "space gun" but gives you and awesome sound when fired which intimidates the opposition.

EDIT: If you have a Facebook I have videos on there of tuning the R/T. Send ya a link if you wanna see it.

EDIT 2 : http://www.rap4.com/paintball/os/markers-paintball-c-21_223_263.html link for all the T68 by RAP4

I used to play paintball a good bit with my buddies... although it kinda fell apart when I ticked off one of the friends (he went on to become a Spyder rep after going through a lot of competitions). He got mad cuz I was absolutely deadly at woods-ball, lol.

I used to get yelled at a lot cuz I wouldn't just empty the hopper, I'd only rock-an-roll when the need arose, otherwise I was picking my shots (I'd still spray a half a dozen or so) but a hopper would usually last more than a round for me (they'd go through 2-4 a round).

I got a Spyder Imagine, only paintball gun I ever bought. Made for a decent starter gun, did the high speed firing mod, tweaked the trigger (more sensitive), and I did a partial polish on the bolt (largely out of boredom at one point).

Been thinking of getting back into it, but I'd want a proper paintball gun if I do an use my Imagine for a backup. I want something accurate and that I can do a pencil roll with if the need arises (in other words, I've been looking at the mag feed guns).

And I've always wanted to build a sniper paintball gun, but not sure how useful it would be...

I feel you on picking your shot. It should be 1 shot 1 kill not lay and spray. That is why I am picking up a mil sim and considering that is what I had all my training with. I think I would have an advantage. I post up pics when I get my T68. I am looking forward to it. :yahoo::icon_hornsup: My oppenents will be like :icon_surprised: and then :black_eye: followed by :pissedoff: with me doing :taunt: followed with :icon_cheers:.

Theres no sport that'll give ya a adrenaline rush then paintball. I used to play but fell outa after funds consistabtly running low. a pricey sport lol. I have a Spyder Imagine, Xtra and will prob be selln the Xtra on ebay soon, will prob buy me enough coffee to get through the weak lol, but i'm keeping Imagine and the electric feed hopper in case i feel the urge someday!!! pwn shop was selln a loaded A-5 with all gadjets on it, only $50, wish i wasn't guitar shopping at the time!!!

been playing for for about 8 years and i cant stop love it play whenever i get a chance i use a ion UFO and a cheap walmart gun that i bought for super cheap

74 - NICE COCKER!!!

I love playin paintball. I have an a-5 with a 14" stiffi and e-grip w/ w.a.s. board, tech-t lightening and votex mod, polished internals, jcs double trigger, cp on/off, 4500/68 dye throttle tank, special ops gun sling. Pumpin out 30 bps if need be. I have been playing for a little over 5 years now.

I think I am going to enjoy this. Unfortunately I am going to use it for home protection in a less than lethal scenario. I found some less than lethal rounds for it. My gf does not really like having guns in the house, we have 2 currently. I figured I could show her the basics and she will be alright.

I am getting it mainly for woodsball. My thing is I have to find ppl to play. My father has woods across the street from his house that I could play in. It is a matter of getting ppl together. Maybe I should ask my fellow Hoosiers if anyone would be interested.

Anyone play with a slingshot?

I only play woodsball, and it makes the game a lot more challenging if you play with a slingshot. (especially when everyone else is not)

When I'm not using a slingshot I use a BT-4 combat.
I have a long range paintball gun, but it's too powerful to actually use during a game.

I don't think I'd use anything that even somewhat resembles a paintball gun for home defense. I could understand if some idiot is out there smashing your pumpkins or something of the sort, but for home defense, you can't skimp.

You can always make a less than lethal shot, with a lethal weapon. If the intruder were armed, you'd be lucky to get away if you did any less. Many are hopped up on drugs, so a less than lethal shot isn't going to do anything. Even lethal ones don't always work with one or two. But it's better to have the firepower and not need it, than not having it and needing it. Especially when it's the lives of you and your family that's at stake.

I used to play woods ball a bit, but all my friends and I just kind of stopped. :dunno: I have a pump action Tigershark that is pretty basic, gravity hopper, and 14 or 16 ounce CO2 tanks butt plate.

I have thought about turning it into a sniper gun for quite some time, but never been sure how much use it would get on most fields.

I love to paintball when i get the chance, I use a Tippman A-5 w/ whisper barrel, expansion chamber and an RT. My brother in-law has the new tippman, cant think of what its called but it is just plain tits!!, he's got an expansion chamber, came factory with the RT on it, has 2 barrels, shortened the stock barrel so it looks like a gun from starship troopers lol, and hes got the one barrel that you can change what direction the ball will go, hes trying to sell it, im thinking about trying to get it off of him. It shoots faster than any oracle and Ion ive ever seen and never chops a ball.

I used to love playing when I was younger. But I've got too much money wrapped up into wheeling to really afford any other hobbies, at least currently. I'll play now and then though and just borrow stuff from a buddy. It's a lot of fun, just expensive when you're broke!
