I got a new grille from RockAuto, mine was cracked and busted, and it came saying 'ready to paint'; would I use just a plain old exterior plastic trim spray paint or is there a specific one y'all would recommend? I'm gonna go flat black on the color. (I guess I can leave it as is since it's already black but it's matte)

Automotive paints last longer, no question about it. And it will take more work to paint it a second time. You will need to sand the old paint job smooth. Adhesion is also another question. Not all brands of paint are compatable either.
