I do too, unlike most other flares, the pacer flares don't "crawl" their way up to the hood if you get what I mean. Most flares are tall, whereas these flares have mostly width to them.

how do these attach? are they screwed into the sheet metal or do they use a double sided tape of some sort? im thinking i might like a set of these for the ranger since finding a set of factoty ones in the junkyard that arent broken is almost impossible. how far do they extend past the wheel well, 1" , 2"?

They come with sheetmetal screws you use to attach them (I actually made a continuous wire bracket inside the flare for the screws to go through to help keep it against the contour of the body better).

I seem to remember 2¼" was the claimed amount they extended outward, but I'd have to go measure mine to be sure.

I never tried double sided tape (but if you do, use the good 3M, not the cheap knock-offs), I used rivets on mine and Jay's, about 15 each fender...

thanks guys, my tires stick out just enough to get my truck dirty when im just daily driving, and the mud flaps only catch so much of the dirt. do you know off the top of your head how many rolls it took to do them? they say the rolls are 58" long, but i havent measured my wheel wells yet because its cold out!

Jay and I got a 50 ft roll from either JC Whitney or Summit Racing, and it did 8 fenders and we have enough left over for almost 2 more...

i finally got around to ordering them, i got the ones from TRS that are made for the 1993 and up rangers, but theyre about 3" too short? since i already have them in going to use them and hope they dont look half assed, but i makes me wonder why theyre listed for my truck if they dont fit? stay tuned, ill post pics when im done!

Did you just replace you factory flares, or did you cut your fenders?? If you cut your fenders, thats where the 3" gap is coming from. Thats why Jay and I ordered a 50 ft roll....

no cutting on the fenders, theyre still in stock form. heres some pics of what i mean

i got another bag of screws so im going to try to install the rears tonight before it rains, but other than the length being a little short they seem to keep the mud in the wheel wells better.

I'm sorry, but those flares are just cheesy looking to me and all my buddies. None of us like their looks...they just look so cheap!! I guess if you don't care what you put on there to replace them when you tear them up... then that is ok then!!!

Yeah they definately don't look like I was expecting. They do the job they were designed to do (keep mud offf the truck and in the wheel wells) but they don't look cool doing it. If I had more lift and wider tires it might not look so weird, but for now I guess they're just coming off and going back in the box.

ya your truck looks weird, it looks good its just the tires look dinky.. like small. the bed bars look like you should have some huge tires and a big ass lift to look normal. my truck isnt pretty so i cant say anything... just giving opinion. the front fenders do look kinda weird with the gap... maybe thats whats killing the look. when i finally do something im just gonna go fiberglass fenders... wont have to worry about rust in MA lol. hope the rear looks better...
