Hello everyone, bought an 88' STX about a month ago.
First ranger I've owned, but i also have a 93 Silverado.
I bought the truck from a buddy at work for the 4wd aspect, (chev is 2wd).
The truck is lifted, 6" skyjacker(i think), and 3" body blocks, and sits on 35's... It has a couple nice add-ons like front visor, big cut-out fender flares, aftermarket alum wheels (15's) with a full sized spare. i'm not 100% in love with it, but its just a beater to get to work.
I see a lot of guys here go with a V8 and understandably I want to myself, but i don't know if i posses the knowledge/tools to do so. I know the tires are probably too much for the little six, i'm planning to swap to 33's when they need a changing. Right now the truck is just a slug and i don't see any potential from the old 2.9 block in it.
