Hello. Finally got another ranger and I'm stoked to build this thing like I always wanted one.
A little history if anyone cares. I had a 91 reg cab 4x4 for my first vehicle when I started driving ten years ago. It was my baby, but as a broke high school kid I never had the cash to do with it what I wanted. It got a body lift and tires but that was about it. I had to sell it when I took on college because I needed something bigger because I went from fl to mt. Forward to today, I got an 89 ext cab 4x4 auto for my wife to drive when her car got repossessed from bankruptcy. Picked it up for $1400 with very little rust and a strong running 2.9. Shortly after the trans went so I had it rebuilt for $1100. When we found out that we are having a little ford freak, due in July, I had to get her something more baby friendly so I picked up an 02 exploder. So since I have two other trucks, f350 diesel 4x4s, the ranger is now my play toy.
I was on this site when I had my first ranger, but man has it come a long way. Now that I'm a much better mechanic/fabricator, the possibilities are almost endless thanks to this site.
I'm glad to be back in the ranger world!
