I bought a truck with a overhead temperature read out and it is froze and won't go up. So i did some research and it said the box that i need to tap into is to the left of the radio. But there is nothing there i found a box underneath the wallet holder thingy below the radio. I can't figure it out. I tried to read the big write up on it. I need some further instructions!!!!

Hey their brother you have it all wrong. its quite simple. the two temperature sensor wires that go out to the engine bay are connected to the sensor unit. question: did you grab the temperature sensor from the front of the donor vehicle? this would be what you need to connect the above two wires to.

as for the grey wire you are suppose to be taping into. your wire is located somewhere different. what year again is your ranger? i thought it was a 2007-08 lmk

i bought the vehicle with this already done. I am trying to figure out how this all goes together. I have no idea how the old person did it? It's a 07 2.3l. What wire is splicing in to the vss wire? One from the temperature sensor. I have no idea how many wires are even involved there obviously has to be one going to the overhead console then where do the 2 temp sensor wires go to ?

now that i have seen your post . you really need to read the link i gave you. teloing wont do nothing you need to understand what you are dealing with. read the link and understand; than you may ne required to take it down so that you can see the color wires.
