Overhead console question

Ordered my console from ebay and Im doing a trial install.

I have a colored wire that is not mentioned in the tech library artilcle that I could see.

It is red with a black stripe. Is this the dimmer ? I have accounted for all other wires in the harness. It does not have the alternate plugs for the lighted mirrors.

nevermind I answered my own question. It is the dimmer switch, allthough it works in reverse of the dash lites. when I turn them down the console goes up, n vice versa!! WTF??
